When Carol Ann asked me to film her wedding at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay in Cambridge, MD, I assumed this would be a waterfront wedding. Well, Mother Nature had other plans for water in store by means of Hurricane Matthew.
That day, it rained from sun up until sun down. Most brides (including myself probably) would be freaking out, as both the ceremony and reception were planned to be outdoors. Not Carol Ann, she was calm and collected, and still just as excited to marry the man of her dreams- and Jason reciprocated that excitement. It was beautiful to watch this couple dedicate their lives to each other and rename the storm that will always be remembered as “Hurricane Seney.”
